I am always delighted to see a beautiful finished project using my hand-dyed yarn. Wild Bergamot is a custom colorway I designed using the most gorgeous color palatte for Bryanne at Moon and Yarn Craft Room. Imagine my surprise when I saw a skein of my DK Wild Bergamot colorway turned into a gorgeous Sweet Pea Cowl by the oh-so-talented Yessy's Designs!

This yarn is from @chroniclesofcheryl purchased at @cakepalooza2024 from @moonandyarncraftroom and it has been in the same bag since October, just there waiting for the right project. As I worked on my first couple of samples of The Sweet Pea Cowl, I started looking in my stash for DK weight yarn.
I worked with a few that you will see soon but last week, as our Cherry blossom trees started to bloom and the sun just feels brighter, this color combo seemed very appropriate and joyful.
I could not put it down once I started knitting, which took me a couple of evenings, and this week, after blocking it and taking final pictures, had to bring it to And Company on Bank for my neighbors.
I can’t get over the softness of the yarn and just the Spring feel of this colorway.
